Here is a very handsome carving set with caramel brown swirl Bakelite handles. This vintage set consists of a stainless steel serving fork and two stainless steel carving knives. This set was manufactured by Robinson Knife Company and both of the knives are marked. The fork is unmarked but there is absolutely no doubt that it is part of the set. The knives are both 12 1/2 inches in length,with blades being 3/4 inch on one and 1 inch on the other. The serving fork is 10 inches long. The color of the Bakelite handles on these pieces are truly rich and beautiful. The condition of these pieces is very good. The handles have no pitting, no burn marks, no scratches, no scuffs and no evidence of ever being hot pin tested. The handles test positive Bakelite with the Simichrome polish test. The blades of the knives and the tines of the fork show normal tiny surface scratches from use. This is a beautiful 1930's-1940's set...don't miss out on it. Thanks for taking a look at it.

Payment
Payment is expected within 3 days close of auction. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO PAY WITHIN THE 3 DAY TIME PERIOD -- PLEASE RECONSIDER PLACING YOUR BID. I do not mean to sound harsh in making that statement, but I have in recent months encountered an excessive number of buyers who do not adhere to my payment policy and in many cases unfortunately have not paid me at all.
Shipping
All items ship via US Priority Mail unless otherwise noted. Items will ship within 5 business days of receipt of payment. Please note that my local Post Office has shortened hours on Saturdays. I normally DO NOT make trips to the Post Office on Saturdays.
Terms of Sale
Items will ship within 5 business days of receipt of payment.
Payment is expected within 3 days of close of the auction and if not received within 3 days an automatic unpaid item case is opened by eBay.  I understand that sometimes emergency situations arise, therefore, if there is a problem where you cannot remit payment within the 3 day time period, please at least contact me to let me know. If you have a problem with the sales transaction PLEASE contact me immediately so that we can resolve the problem prior to posting negative feedback or filing a claim with eBay.
International Bidders - I will NOT mark as "Gift" or falsify the value for customs purposes. Please do NOT ask me to do this. I accept returns only on items that may have been inadvertently misrepresented in description.  Items must be returned within 14 days of buyer receipt.  Buyer must notify me immediately of intent to return the item. Please do not return the item without first giving me notice of your intentions! The item must be returned to me in the same condition it was in prior to buyer receipt.
