    Description

    A rare set of bakelite or other early plastic forks and knives. I am uncertain whether this is bakelite or something similar. 12 in total.  Each piece is composed of
    layers of colored plastic, cream, black and butterscotch.  Unusual in that all parts are bakelite or early plastic, with only small metal brads holding the 3 layer colors together.  Each knife  or fork is about 6 and 3/8 inches long.  There is a translucent quality to the edges of the butterscotch plastic blades and tines.
