Condition: This is in very good condition with minor blemish to bakelite base where a cigarette could have been put out. Tagua nut sits directly on bakelite base and has a multi colored bakelite head with glass eyes and bakelite beak. Base measures 3 5/8 inches by 2 5/8 inches and is 1/4 inches thick.

Description

This is a beautiful NUTBIRD with a bakelite base. Very fine quality and similar to the quality of YZ pieces sold by Alfred Dunhill.
I was friends with Ian Holdsworth who wrote the YZ book and this bird is pictured on page 113. I have collected many YZ pieces and also quality knockoffs as this is. I am downsizing and have decided to let some of my fine birds go. I will be listing 3 others similar to this for now so please take a look and in the future I plan to list some of my YZ pieces.
